Chiropractic Adjustments

At Primary Care Chiropractic we understands that your bones, muscles, nerves and joints need to be working together for the body to function at optimum levels.

If you’ve been suffering from chronic pain such as arthritic, back, neck or joint pains, headaches, scoliosis or problematic organ functions, our chiropractors may use a technique such as Chiropractic Adjustment to help correct and realign your spinal joints and reduce muscle tension. The end goal for us is to always help reduce your symptoms and allow you to go about your day to day activities with as minimal pain as possible.

If you’ve been suffering with any of these pains and need help finding a solution, get in touch with us here to book your appointment for your one on one consultation with one of our chiropractors.

Intensive Deep Tissue Massage

Intensive Deep Tissue Massage is a technique that involves applying pressure in particular areas that are stressed, tight or stiff. These are the pains that you’ve been suffering from for short or long periods of time but have always told yourself that ‘it’ll get better when I stop doing (a certain thing)’. It’s the repetitiveness that causes areas of your body to become stressed, tight or stiff.

If you’ve noticed lower back pain, have had a repetitive strain injury or injuries, muscle tension in any parts of your body, have limited mobility due to years of repetitive motions, been in a motor vehicle accident or work related injury, sciatica or pain in your back that travels down the back of your leg or have tenderness in your back or neck, get in touch with Primary Care Chiropractic.

Our goal is to help alleviate your pain and symptoms to allow you to go about your day to day activities and provide you with strategies to help nurse your body to good health.

Sports Massage

You might be thinking that sports massage is limited to those super athletic professionals that run marathons, do 50km cycles and swim ‘x’ number of kilometers everyday, you know, that football, rugby, AFL, basketball player or athlete training for the Olympics.

Sports Massage is a technique that our chiropractors use not only for sporting athletes, but also for your working warrior or super mum. You see, if you’re sitting in an office doing your 9-5 (6, 7 or 8) everyday or you’re in the warehouse picking and packing or you’re a courier sitting for 10 or more hours a day or you’re the busy mum lifting, carrying, moving, rocking a 12kg baby every day, our chiropractors can use the Sports Massage technique to help relieve tension that can build up over time.

Dr Chee uses this technique to help release tension and stretch the tissues in and around the muscles, reduce or get rid of pain and relax overactive or repeatedly overused muscles.

If you fall into any of these categories, make sure you book in your one on one consultation with one of our Chiropractors.

Remedial &/or Therapeutic Massage

With over ten years’ experience in Remedial and Therapeutic Massage, you know you’ll be in safe hands when you book in your one on one consultation with us.

Our Chiropractors use Remedial and Therapeutic Massage to help repair areas of the body that are damaged and help speed up the body’s natural healing process. They use a combination of soft and gentle and strong and deep massage techniques to target specific problematic areas.

If you have experienced any type of injury, muscle cramps, whiplash from a motor vehicle accident, pain or stiffness in your muscle/s, stiffness in your joints and ligaments in your spine, arthritis or frozen shoulder, our chiropractors can help guide you to restore your body function through rehabilitation, pain and injury management.

Trigger Point Release

Ever heard of someone you know complain of having a ‘knot in their back or neck’? They’re also known as your mini cramps or a knot in the muscle and usually caused when you overuse a particular muscle, get inflammation or swelling in the area, have had trauma to a particular spot, have an imbalance in your body, have had an infection or possible nerve pain or damage. As a quick fix, most people will opt to get someone to ‘massage’ or ‘knead’ the area to ‘get rid of the knot’. But we all know too well that it doesn’t last very long.

Muscles that spasm or cramp can be a result of doing certain activities such as sitting in front of a computer for hours on end or standing on your feet for long periods of time. When a specific muscle goes into stress, other surrounding muscles overwork to compensate causing secondary pain.

Our Chiropractors use Trigger Point Release to not only target specific stressed points but the surrounding muscles as well. If you’re suffering from repetitive movement or lack thereof and are getting mini cramps and knots, contact Primary Care Chiropractic to book in your one on one session.

Dry Needling

On the surface, Dry Needling and Acupuncture can be thought to be similar in the way that a practitioner uses needles to target specific areas in the body. Acupuncture focuses on restoring the flow of energy (predominantly used in traditional Chinese medicines) where Dry Needling is a technique used to alleviate pain and stimulate healing in the areas that are knotted or spasming through restoration and the release of trigger points in the aching or tight muscle.

If you’ve had an injury, had a sudden jerking movement causing a part of your body to lock or tighten up, changed the intensity of your gym/training regime, feel like you have a ‘pinched nerve’, do excessive or repetitive movement or lack thereof (sitting or standing for long periods of time) or been under stress, our chiropractors may use Dry Needling as a technique to help stimulate healing in the concerning areas. Treatment such as Dry Needling is tailored to each individual patient and is provided to facilitate your road to recovery and only if necessary.

If you have been suffering in silence for a while or have noticed sudden excruciating pain that you can’t seem to get rid of, make sure you click here to book in your one on one session with Primary Care Chiropractic.

Rehabilitation

Whether you have had an injury at work or at home, are experiencing pain or discomfort in parts of your body, have had headaches or migraines on and off for a while, experiencing age related pains, are a sporting athlete, working warrior or super mum or an expecting mother or just need help with your posture, the journey to going back to your ‘normal’ self and doing the ‘normal’ things can be a long road to recovery if you leave it and do nothing. When you visit our Chiropractors, you’ll be rewarded with the many benefits when he is part of your journey to rehabilitation.

Their work ethic, integrity and ability to understand and diagnose the underlying cause/s means that you will always feel comfortable discussing your concerns. Because, for us, this is the journey to rehabilitation. This is the journey to giving you a pain free lifestyle so you can go about doing the things you love.
